VD's NHL Forum Rules
Welcome to VDNHLF, hockey fans! We hope you enjoy your stay!
Though this site is made to have fun with other hockey fans across the globe and the rules aren't very strict, there are several guidelines that do need to be followed and will be applied.
Respect
--> The most important rule on this board: respect to the members, staff, and forum itself. Just because someone is a fan from another team or doesn't agree with you about something does not mean you can flame or harass them in any way. This will not be tolerated.
Stick to your favorite team's board
--> Do not go to other team's boards to stir up trouble. If you want to strike up conversations or debates with fans from other teams, do it in the "NHL Talk" board. This does not mean you can't go to other team's boards and discuss their team, but do not insult their team in their own board.
PG13
--> This board is PG13, so all posted material (text, images, videos, ect.) should all fit this tag. That means no porn, nudity, sexual terms, vulgar language, or drug or alcohol reference.
Stay On-Topic
--> Stay on the thread topic as much as possible. If the conversation leads to another one, that's fine, but anything unrelated shouldn't go in the threads.
Links
--> Any posted links should be relevant to the topic. Links that lead to inappropriate websites are strictly forbidden.
Source
--> If you copy an article directly from another site, such as TSN or NHL, etc, add a link back to the page where the article is located in your post. Otherwise, it's a copyright infringement, and we don't want that.
No Trolling or Spamming
--> Don't go around in other people's topics and post irrelevant things. Make sure what you are posting is in the right board. Anything irrelevant to hockey should be posted in the "Un-related Topics" board.
Advertising
--> If you wish to advertise your website or forum, you may include a small link or banner in your signature only. We reserve the right to remove your link at any time.
Double-Posting
--> This is more of a guideline than a rule. Please try not to post more than once in a row, unless absolutely necessary. It is not forbidden, but frowned upon. Remember, you can always use the "modify" button to edit your last post.
By joining and posting on VD's NHL Forum, you agree to abide by these rules at all times. You also acknowledge that VD's NHL Forum has the right to edit, delete, or use any submitted content on the forum.
