Canada just lost 2-1.
Like I said, Canada was the underdog going into this game, but were definetly the better team in the actual game itself. Shots were 35 to 17 or something like that for Canada. They could have definitely had a few more goals in that game. Bryzgalov was amazing.

2 Gold medals in a row for Russia at the worlds...
Take it as a warning for next year's Olympics. It's gonna be really tough.

at 2010 the difference will be:
For Canada: Savard, Getzlaf, Nash, Brodeur/Ward/Luongo(2 of the 3, maybe all), Staal, Boewmeester, Green, Neidermeyer, Pronger. I'm probably missing some but you get the idea, right?
For Russia: Malkin, Ovechkin, Semin, Backstrom, Datsyuk, maybe Varlamov as a back-up to Bryzgalov. Again there's probably more that im forgetting.
2010 is going to be intense. I think Canada was a fairly weak team this year. I didn't expect too much from them. In fact team Canada exceeded my expectations this year. Russia was fairly strong this year, and stronger than Canada, like expected. 2010 is going to be an amazing game. I just hope I'm not in school that day because there's no way in hell I'm missing out on that!
...that is of course if the Swedes don't beat us again, or was it the Fins?

Finland eliminated us in 2006 I believe.
Also Russia's starting goalie could be any of Nabakov, Khabibulin, Bryzgalov, etc...
