Yeah, I was just going to come in here and tell people to make second round predictions. Anyway: Montreal in 6 Pittsburgh in 6 San Jose in 6 Detroit in 7 Well, my predictions are looking OK at best right now. I got Montreal wrong and Detroit right but in the wrong amount of games, and the other two are still possible (but wrong amount of games for SJ).

Well i was right for the Detroit winning in four. If Pens win tonight, I'll have been right there too. As for SJS they still have a chance at comming back and taking it in 7. So i could have only been wrong about montreal philly. Which montrealy should have won.

Did you even watch the games, Carse?
I think even Flyers fans will admit it. They won this series with great goaltending on their part, and weak goaltending on our part. Montreal hits posts and crossbars a grand total of 11 times that series, not to mention the incredible amount of shots that missed the net.
I'm sure if we could see the total amount of shots on net in the series, Montreal would have almost double. Same with time on attack.
Montreal dominated that series, and in no way deserved to lose. Kudos to Biron and Philly who played pretty good defensively shutting down the Habs' powerful Power Play, though. Like I said, with Price making saves and better luck, we would be talking about Montreal's next opponent right now.

accually i did watch the game, and the habs would have won if hartnell's bad goal would have been stopped by price, and that open net shot wouldn't have hit the crossbar, but you can't blame the series on goaltending, Biron was amzing in this series, but philly's penalty kill was great, and so was thier O and D. they played great all around, Price did some very important saves in this series but it was montreal's lack of defencive play that shook up price, it wasn't that price wasn't doing his job, because he was, but it was MTL's D that wasn't very strong against the bigger offence of the flyers, Umburger had 8 goals in 5 games against the habs, you can't blame price for that.

Price was weak in this series. I can blame him because a lot of the losses were his fault. I know he's young and he's gaining experience, so I'm not mad, but it comes down to that: he cost Montreal the series.
And seriously dude, Philly did nothing offensively. A lot of the goals were wrist shots from the far slot that went over his shoulder, or that he missed with his glove.
Like I said, Philly didn't play bad, but Montreal was the better team by a wide margin. And I'm not saying that because I'm a Habs fan. It's the truth. Without Biron, Philly could've easily been swept. This series was a LOT closer then the final score indicates.

philly did enough offensivly to break montreals D, and that all they needed, montreal may have had more shots, but that doesn't matter in the long run, and a old cranky man once said, "two post don't equal a goal" lol that's what Lasselles said to john that time we played in VKH and John kept hitting posts and didn't get any goals

You're pretty much saying what I am. I'm not saying Montreal should be handed the series win because they got unlucky. I'm saying that they deserved to win just as much, if not more, than Philly did. Biron and his posts held up the fort, though, and Montreal came up short.
It's that simple.
