According to the Ottawa Sun, Bryan Murray would be interested in any one of these five coaches for next year. - Bob Hartley. (Former Trashers and Avalanche Coach)
- Pat Burns. (Former Devils, Canadiens and more... Coach)
- Pat Quinn. (Former Leafs Coach)
- John Tortorella (Currently Tampa's head coach, will be considered if he gets fired).
- The Kitchener Rangers (OHL) Head Coach Peter DeBoer.
Which is most likely? Which would be best?

I think Hartley or Torts would be the best choices for Ottawa. They're both coaches that expect a lot from and are hard on all all their players, and I think that's exactly what a team lacking motivation like the Senators needs.

yeah, the only way i would like torts on ottawa is because he lead tampa bay lightning to the stanleyy cup, but after that season the "Bays" did horrible.

i will like to see Pat Burns behind the bench again after all he has been throw. another one can be Dale Hunter that coaches the London Knights.

No he isn't, he last coached the Devils before the lockout but got sick and quit.

ouch....but after some deep considerations, i am regretfully but thinking that John Torterella would be also one of the best, he wouldn't let emery (if he's on the team) get away with so much, he put more disipline into the defence, and in the offence, i thin k he will be good for them.

I also think it would be a great choice, but that depends on Tampa and if they decide to fire him or not.
Oh, and by the way, Murray has already announced that Emery won't be around next year.

yeah i know...
i think that diciplin was a huge issue with ottawa this year...they got alot of stupid penaties. but i think that brian murray was trying to turn them into anehieim, a.k.a the dominating killers and murderers or hockey...but ottawa cant do that, they have too much skill in thier roster as opposed to some big guys with skill.

I think Murray might be a good GM, he made a good trade for Stillman, but I think he's a terrible coach.
