Actually, he asked to be traded... He hated playing in Ottawa, he said so almost as soon as he arrived in Carolina.

well, as it is now...they accually have 5.5mil left. it still counts Ray Emery's contract of 3mil, but Emery is for sure not going to be on ottawa next year.
but still with 5.5mil left they're still ain't gonna be enuf fo' Hossa, unless he gets really generous, and really really likes ottawa, so agrees with a small contract
