Yeah I'm pretty skeptical about Ottawa's defense. Actually, I don't see Ottawa as an elite team anymore. Weak goalie, below average defense, and one all-star line on O and that's it. I have a lot lower expectations for Ottawa this year than other years because, on paper, they're not as good in my opinion.

i agree with you 100% if they make the playoffs its going to be 7th or 8th maybe 6th. they are not a top 3 team in the east anymore. sorry carson. but anything can still happen.

i know ottawa's d isn't that great looking now, but im assuming the pairing is gonna go
Phillips-Volchy Smith-Kuba Lee-Schubert
with a few other spare d's and smith came as a replacement for Redden(for say) and Kuba came from the meszaros trade, and i dont know about you guys, but i think that's a step up. Measzros is slow, he was pretty bad on the blue line, redden...well i kinda liked redden, but still, im likeing the team this year.
and i expect the CASH line to get split up, i see it like this for the top 2 lines:
Heatley-Spezza-Fisher Foligno-Vermette-Alfredsson
