I'm going to start making these threads after every Habs game because I like being able to talk about each game individually.
Great effort tonight by the Habs, and a perfect road game against the Stanley Cup Champions. They shut down the neutral zone and put on good pressure in the first two periods and came out with a beautiful, well-deserved win.
Now this is the kind of performance that makes me proud.

i didn't get a chance to see the last 2 games because of work. I fine that Montreal is a team that I can not pick how good they are. One game they play great the next one they suck. O well a win is a win right. From what I heard from my parents they played great. would guys put Price in the 2 games this weekend??

I think we can give Price a break after the last few games and all the shootouts he's played in. Split the work with Halak this weekend.

Heheh, yeah. It took Montreal almost 13 minutes to get a shot in the third period, because they were playing the trap. Dump in and shut down the neutral zone. Worked like a charm.

yup, its Theodore vs Halak tonight. Lets hope the habs come out firing.
P.s. the only time theodore face his old team didn't we score like 6 to 8 goals on him??? im not too sure

Yes, last time Montreal played Theodore, he was in Colorado, and the Habs had won 8-5 after initially going down 3-0. I remember that game clearly.

Yep - I remember too.
The game started out just fine for them.
They had a 3-0 lead.
Then going into the last period, the roof caved in on Theo -
5 goals escaped him.
A real low light in his career.

hey - that is what Habs fans do best. The best booers in the league.  Theo stopped 28 shots against his former team mates. A nice nite for Theo ! ;D |
