The Bears/Baby Pens have had a bizarre pattern of following the Caps/Pens series so far. Bears are up 2-0, lose 3-2 in OT for game 3, then get squished game 4.
Of course, we keep having to steal the Bears' best players with injuries plaguing our roster (again)...

yup, that what sucks when the 2 teams are in the finals. We are lucky that the Vancouver hasn't called up any player so far in the playoffs.

Valentenko will not be playing in the AHL. he started this year gets hurt goes back home and signs a deal in the KHL for 3 years. So I don't see him playing with the bulldogs. And Montreal is not happy with him. So its unlikely we will see him in a Habs jeresy I haven't given up hope on Valentenko in Montreal. For personal reasons, he had to play in Russia. I heard it was because his family really needed money. He has said that he is still interested in playing in the NHL, but we'll see. I definitely hope he comes over.

But if I was him I would had done the some thing. I heard that he said that he was hurt and then went back home and during the days he signed in the KHL. But when you think of it he got more money playing in the KHL then the AHL.

Good news for them. I think Hodgson will turn out to be a very good player.

That's right, Snoopy. Remember last year, Montreal went 4-0 against Philly during the season... That's not what happened in the playoffs, to say the least.

Game One Well game one is in the books and the Manitoba Moose came out with a hard fought win. The big headline for this game was the debut of Cody Hodgson. He was playing in his first pro game. In the first period Dusty Collins got his 1st of the playoffs by a nice play from Hodgson and Rallo. In the 2nd period there was lots of action in both ends but the scores stayed the same going in the 3rd period. In the last frame there was a total of 2 goals. Houston would tie up the game at 9:50 of the 3rd period with a powerplay goal from Matt Beaudoin. Cory Locke and Tony Hirkac. But 2 minutes later the moose fans would go crazy has Mario Bliznak would pick up this 1st goal of the post season to put up the Moose by one. Mike Keane and Guillane Desbiens would by the assist. So after 60 minutes the scores were 2 to 1. There were a total of 9,703 fans live at the game. 3 Stars of the Game 1. Cory Schneider 2. Corey Locke 3. Cody Hodgson Around the AHL: *Game 2 goes in Winnipeg tonight. * The series between the Bears and Bruins starts tonight.
