Wow hawks come into vancouver and steal a game. Vancouver needs to stop freaking sitting back when they have leads it has cost them. Game 2 they led 2-0 and lost game 4 lead 1-0 with less than 3 mins to go, and tonight had 2-1 lead. When they get leads they need to keep the foot on their throats. Anyways I give hawks lot of credit they are a young confident bunch right now and wouldnt be surprised if they move on.

i agree with you razer. they do need to stop sitting back. I wonder why they are doing it. they got roberto in the net. Why not play a open style of game. I'm pretty sure Roberto can stop the puck. Or I'm I wrong??

Well they seem to come out playing agressive then when they get leads they kinda just sit back and play a boring style of game. They can not sit back against chicago and it has shown as now they are down 3-2. Vancouver can come back they just have to do what has got them this far. Roberto can steal game 6 if their d box out the chicago forwards better.

Or I'm I wrong?? Actually you're right, and that's the problem. Once they have the lead, they figure that Luongo will keep it for them. He may be one of the best goalies in the league, but he's not superhuman and will need some help. Vancouver has to stop giving up on forechecking when they get the lead. Of course that leads to turnovers and odd-man rushes which is what they're trying to prevent, but like you said, Luongo can take care of those occasional chances, because in general there will be less of them.

It's currently 6-5 for Chicago. This game is so back and forth. It's really exciting. There's 5 minutes left in the 3rd.
Update: It's 7-5 now with about 3 mins left and Kane got his first play-off hat-trick.
2nd Update: The Hawks are going to the Western Confrence Finals.

Way to go chicago good luck in west final. I knew during the season they could be dangerous and they will give detroit or anaheim a good run. I hope they make cup final GO HAWKS GO!!

No not at all they couldnt play defense worth a S*hit, had the lead twice in third. Chicago just was the better team they got more offense out of their top guns.

You really can't blame Luongo. It's kinda pathetic now that some people in Vancouver want to trade him for letting in 7 goals in 1 game. I seriously doubt they remember what it was like in Vancouver before Luongo.
