Excuse me? That was one guy who was a rookie trying to make a name for himself. You gotta be kidding me. Anyway it's sid the kid. He is by far the best player, he scores, he makes plays, he sets up other players. He just makes everyone around him great. Yes he does cry about a lot of things but some of that is being a good captain and getting explanations from refs. IMO Sid=1

I understand, but there's still no reason to jump-tackle someone while they're head is down. Hell, he could've killed him. I don't care whether your a Flyer's fan or not, that's inexcusable. Plus, Philly had quite a few suspensions for cheap hits this year.

Anyway, I know what I said was a little harsh, especially the part about them being losers and how they can have no fans, and I'm sorry if I offended you. I just don't really like the Flyers. Plus, they've proved that they're not losers anyway by eliminating the favorites of that series, the Capitals.

Heh, and as a Flyer's fan, I would've never thought you would've voted for Crosby.

You're right it was inexcusable. But to point out a whole team over one or two players isn't fair. I agree we love to hit and have since the days of the Broad Street Bullies but i don't think were always cheap.

As for voting for Crosby, I am a true, bleed orange Flyers fan but you can't deny the plain and simple truth that he is the best.

You're right. I know I did generalize and I shouldn't, but there were quite a few other players from Philly suspended this year for dirty hits.

yeah, i donno about the whole rookie who wanted to make a name for himself thing, and getting suspended for like 20(?) games doesn't give you a name, Downie isn't gonna get a rep from giving people dirty hits.

But he already did and then avoiding the punches from Clarksen he isn't very liked in the NHL right now.
