Yeah but Weekes isn't that reliable a backup and Marty thinks he can still handle playing 82.

Yeah but it's not his decision. Next season they need to give 15 games to their backup in my opinion.

yup, i agree Marty needs to play at least 67 to 70 games. not 76 to 79.

or even less, i think weekes can handle the extra games, although marty wouldn't be very happy with that.

At this point, marty being happy about the coaches decision is just to bad. He wont be as great as he used to be, and if the coach decides to play his back up goalie more so that brodeur gets some rest, then good. And Marty should just accept that decision.

yeah, marty's gonna have to realize that NJ isn't gonna have him forever and need to get the other guys some more experience

If a goalie is too selfish to give the other guy a chance to play, then that's a negative attitude that could affect the whole team.
