Is Stamkos simply underachieving, or is he not all he was hyped up to be? Is it the team?

he is playing on the wrong team. and i think that he is not ready for the NHL

yeah, based on his OHL stats i expected him to be amazing, but it is clear that he's not ready for the NHL and he should have spent a year the minors.

and the fact that he's playing full time in the NHL, could siriously slow down his development.

I completely disagree, i think Stamkos' numbers are right where they should be. The Lightning drafted him so he wouldn't need any junior league development. I think they expected more but they also knew he would take some time to grow into his own.I think he will flourish in the NHL just give him time.
