NHF Rules
1. RESPECT
This goes without saying. While discussions may become heated, in the end we all deserve to have an enjoyable experience here. Respect the forum and the members.
2. SPAM
Posts should for the most part always provide an opinion or move the discussion forward in some meaningful way. Posts meant to bait other members into unnecessary arguments, irrelevant links or content, and most forms of advertising in posts are examples of spam and these posts will be removed. Also, while it is a common occurrence for one discussion to lead to another and it is fine within reason, getting severely off-topic should be avoided.
3. SWEARING
You don't need to go out of your way to avoid swearing in your posts, however there is a filter to block out most of the harsh words. Please don't circumvent this filter. I'm as vulgar as anyone in real life, but to me that kind of language is just unnecessary here and doesn't suit a hockey community.
4. SOURCING
While referencing an article or outside source is perfectly fine and even encouraged, it's expected that you only quote a part of it and provide a link back to the full thing to avoid any copyright issues.
5. SIGNATURES
No BB code in signatures. It just clutters up the threads and makes them harder to read.
6. ADVERTISING
You may advertise your website with a link in your signature if you like, however you must also provide some kind of description so people know what they are clicking.
7. TERMS OF SERVICE
Joining any ProBoards forum means following their rules. Most notably, this means no pornographic or drug related material on the forum.
