Yeah, last year was awesome for him, but even this year was pretty good, but no one really knows about him. That's why I think he's underrated.

yeah, i understand why...i agree completly Yeah, so I think he'll be one of the more wanted Free Agents this year, especially since he'll be a lot cheaper than the big guys like Hossa and Sundin.

Any team should attempt to get him, he's a talented player that will likely sign for a bargain price.

I can think of a lot of teams who possess more salary cap space and are much more desperate to get help offensively than Ottawa. I seriously doubt Ottawa will score big on the Free Agent market this summer just because of their cap space, or lack thereof. I could be wrong, but I would be surprised.

Accually ottawa will have a good amount of cap space. With Redden leaving(the highest paid Senator) then thay will have lots of extra cap space. Redden is currently being paid 6.5 mil a saeson, well he WAS being paid that. With Redden leaving i think that murrays gonna try to sign some really good free-agents with the extra cap space that they have due to Redden's departure.

That's if he leaves. Not to mention they have to resign Meszaros, Vermette, Kelly, possibly Stillman and Commodore, plus a new goalie, plus other minor players they may need to fill spots or whatnot. And Heatley takes a 10Mil cap hit next year, so... That won't leave too much room for top quality free agents. Maybe some smaller players, but I'd be surprised is Murray could manage his finances to afford one of the top guns like Hossa. Seems almost impossible to me. You never know I guess, though.

if murray was smart he wouldn't resign meszaros, it's a waste of money, for a poorer talent. kelly too, he's a good player but eventually he's gonna get cocky and want a big salary, and murrays probably gonna give it to him...so he should get rid of him now...and did you say that Heatlie's getting 10mil contract?

and did you say that Heatlie's getting 10mil contract? He already has his contract, he's making 10mil next year. Spezza's making 8.
