yeah, i now what your saying, but i think i wrote that wrong, i don't think it worsened him../but it made him stand out alot less, i don't knw why Because there are other players who do so well... When he got to San Jose two years ago, he lead the league for points with 125, but hardly anyone remembers that because Cheechoo came out of nowhere and got 56 goals to win the Rocket Richard trophy. Guess who assisted almost all those goals, though. There's no way Cheechoo would have gotten that without Joe on his line.

Yah, and it directed everyones eyes to cheecho, and less on thornton. I think he might have just lost the energy he used to have. But you never know he might come out of no where next year and lead the league in points again. Just to leave a point.
