Congratulations to the victors of the 2008 playoffs, the Detroit Red Wings! Great performance all year long, and another well-deserved cup.

I thought it was a really good series right to the bitter end.

I have to give credit to the Pens for making it into a series after going down early on, exciting stuff with the last few seconds of Game 6. And hats off to Detroit, as much as I wanted the Pens to rally for the fans in Game 6, Detroit deserves the Cup after choking year after year in the playoffs (every year the Red Wings have high expectations). Also, nice to see Bowman raise the Cup, again. For the Pens, hopefully they can keep everyone for next season.

Yeah, I agree with this, Kudos to the Pens for giving it everything they had right down to the last second... Literally!

Hollywood star Kriten Bell ( from Detroit) has a crush on Chris Osgood. She is an avid hockey fan. She was asked by NHL.com how she would spend a day with the Stanley Cup. She said she would start by eating an entire box of Fruity Pebbles out of it. Then she would take a bath with it. & then she would make a purse out of it.

heheh...that was on topic! that's pretty funny, when you say print do you mean magazine or newspaper...or gossip paper... i hate the enquirer It was in the sports section of a reputable newspaper. Also read in same paper, that this guy, Mike Bolt, the person responsible for chaperoning the Stanley Cup during its busy hectic off season of the cup if he has to stay at a player's home if the Cup spends the night. He answers yes. If a player takes it home, he goes with it.

Really? Wow... That's kind of annoying for the players and their families.
