To Aneheim Ducks:
Andrej Meszaros Christoph Schubert
To Ottawa Senators:
Francois Beachemin Mathieu Schneider
i believe this is a good trade. i'll split it into pairs, Schubert for Beachemin and Meszaros for Schneider.
Meszaros and Schneider got basically the same amount of points this season, exept Schneider got 3 goals more, but Schneider is way better defnecivly all meszaros is good for, is the blue line, He's not that good defencivly, he just takes alot of blue line shots.
Schubert for Beachemin, though is different. it will change how the defence is on either team. Schubert is a very offence defence, but he is good at it, he's fast. Beachemin Doesn't get alot of points like Schubert but he is a solid defence. Schubert would be a good asset to Anehiem's offencive defencemen and Beachemin would be good to ottawa's lack of defencive skill. it would make ottawa better on D and make Aneheim's D good on O/.
This trade would cost ottawa about 6mill, but they would be getting rid of Meszaros, who needs a contract and will be asking for at least 3mil so it's gonna cost ottawa about 3mil for this trade, which would eave them 9mil to sign all fo the other players...keeping in mind that ottawa has already signed the big guns, so most of the guys they gotta sign will be .5mil-1.5mil a player.

Well this one makes more sense than the other one I think, but I doubt that Anaheim would do this trade straight up. There are a few problems with it.
First, Mezjaros is a free agent, so they'd have a risk of losing him right away. They'd have to be sure that Meszjaros would sign with them before they accepted.
Also, you have to look at the team. Anaheim has built themselves around size and grit. That's what they were known for when they won the cup, their domination physically. I don't think they want to stray from that path just yet, and trading Beauchemin away to be replaced by either Schubert or Mezjaros doesn't make too much sense given that aspect of it.
There's also the fact that Anaheim has built a team that is amazing defensively. Trading away two of their very solid defensemen to be replaced by average defensively, more offensive d-men is something I doubt they'd be looking for.
Their are a few incentives that could maybe swing the tides in Ottawa's favor, like the fact that Schneider is 39 years old and is really expensive, and both of the guys they'd be getting back are younger and would cost less. But that's about it.
I think Anaheim's counter offer would be something like this.
To Ottawa
Beauchemin Schneider Pahlsson
To Anaheim
Schubert Lee Fisher 2nd Round pick 6th round pick
This trade makes more sense to me. Maybe they'd drop the 6th, though.
Tell me what you think.

Yeah 6t round draft pick is kinda useless, i would not put fisher in there for pahlsson, im sure that ottawa can get better than that, but i don;t like the idea of pahlsson and fisher in there. Lee's a young guy that lacks alot of defence in his play, he's more of a guy who brings defence into the play as oppose to being a player who will check the **** out of anyone on the other team with the puck.
This Would be My counter Counter offer:
To Ottawa Senators:
Francois Beauchemin Mathieu Schneider J.S. Giguire
To Aneheim:
Christoph Schubert Chris Phillips (A.K.A BIG RON) Ray Emery 2nd Round Draft Pick 4th Round Draft Pick 6th Round Draft Pick
i know, it's a bit overboard with the Draft Picks, but it looks fair to me....Aneheims not giving up Giguire without a few draft picks and emery....maybe even put in Gerber, and have Eliiote as a back-up and Giguire as a primary Goalie. Beachemin and Schneider for Schubert and Phillips...looks fair, i donno you be the judge.

i like the VD trade better, but you would have to drop the 6 round. Plus carson I dont think that Burke is dumb enought to take Emery.
