Evgeni Malkin was offered 12.5mil a year(*or 15mil a year North American) to play for a Russian Continential League.
I personally think that Malkin will stay with the Pens, but to pass up an offer like that isn't very smart (if money is your concern).
If he does take this offer he would be the highest paid hockey player ever.
* in what currency are NHLers getting paid in? Canadian or American Dollar?
