Rumor: Evgeni Malkin to Play for Russian League

Evgeni Malkin was offered 12.5mil a year(*or 15mil a year North American) to play for a Russian Continential League.

I personally think that Malkin will stay with the Pens, but to pass up an offer like that isn't very smart (if money is your concern).

If he does take this offer he would be the highest paid hockey player ever.

I think that it's a very large offer, but I don't think Malkin is the type of player to leave North America so he can make more money. I think he'll pass on this, but you never know.
