The Florida Panthers finally parted ways with captain Olli Jokinen, sending the Finnish pivot to the Phoenix Coyotes in exchange for defencemen Keith Ballard, Nick Boynton and the 49th overall selection.
The move had been long rumoured as there were reports out of Florida that Jokinen and general manager Jacques Martin have had a strained relationship.
