The NHL cap has raised. it has gone from 50.3Mil to 56.7Mil, this could be really great for some teams that were tight on space and needed to sign some talented players.

yeah, well they signed some good guys. Malone, Prospal and they have to sign Stamkos...but that wont be a large contract.

im pretty sure they already sighned Stamkos. But yah having a higher salary cap, obviously helps any team out.

yup, there GM said that all the signing that they made it wasn't him. It was the owners doing then. its too bad that he quit

The cap jumped pretty high this year, that was definitely good news for the teams, and the players who can be granted higher contracts.
I'm not expecting the cap to go up this much every year though.
