well, its somewhat suprising, i personallly didn' think Columbus would do that, but he is a rookie and all, but 5th overall pick...i think the first 4 picks have a spot this year...Stamkos, Schenn, Daultry...and the other one...i cant remember him...but i think he's got a spot.

Filatov was actually the 6th overall pick.
Ahead of him were:
Stamkos with Tampa Bay
Doughty with Los Angeles
Bogosian with Atlanta
Pietrangelo with St. Louis
Schenn with Toronto
And yes, they've all signed entry-level deals with their teams and are all on their rosters.

i agree snoopy...i don't think he'll stay in the minors...and even if he does...im sure he'll play at least one game with the jackets
