NY Rangers prospect Alexei Cherepanov died during a Continental Hockey League game in Russia.

The 19 yr. old was speaking with former Rangers captain Jaromir Jagr on the bench when he collapsed.

It is reported that this up and coming star died of a heart attack.

His death does not appear to be caused by an on the ice incident.
