This guy paints his garage door of his house to resemble a flag of his country. He ended up fighting it in court and was forced to paint over it. Last year, local Montreal fire stations painted their garage doors or hung HABS flags and Canadiens logo during the playoffs and the city officials ordered them to remove their public displays of team support. So I ask, how long will people be allowed to drive around with hockey team flags flapping in the wind attached to their cars ? Will this be outlawed too ? Or is it hypocritical to allow this type of team support behaviour on the public roads but not in your driveway

thats a good point
accually i think it should be the other way around if anything. I mean, both should be allowed, I think the flags on the the cars would cause more of a disturbance than painting it on your windows. The firestation is a public service building so i can understand why the city officials would be angry, but it's a little thing. They were just trying to show thier support for thier local hockey team.
