Former GM of the stanley cup winning Ducks of Aneheim. Brian Burke is now the GM of the Toronto Maple Leafs. This is the guy that landed a 2nd and 3rd overall draft pick in the same year, and got the Sedin twins, when he was in Vancover.
Right now they are trying to work out a 6 year contract.

Why you don't think he has any chance of building a winning team & turn them into a cup contender ?

what has burke won in this career? ... The Stanley Cup. He built the Penner-Getzlaf-Perry line and brought Pronger to the team, and built a roster strong enough to easily beat a team that was explosive at the time in Ottawa.
