Fourth in points behind only Malkin, Crosby and Ovechkin, and leading the league for goals, does this surprise you? Do you think Carter will cool off, or should we expect a dominant player likes this from now on?

YES finally some outer philadelphia recgonition.
Anyways Jeff Carter does this surprise me? No. I've watched this guy grow from his time as the phantom capatain to the canadian junior leader to now where he has taken the reigns as the prime scorer for the flyers from the *** that is Simon Gagne. In philly the talk of the town is Scott Hartnell, or birddog, and his amazing play. But apparently everyone is missing that all he is doing is feeding off of Carter. I do believe though that eventually Carter will cool off and Richards, Gagne and Knuble will be there to pick it up. The Flyers always seem to do this but i believe Carter will finish with 50 goals and 40 assists by the end of the year. Maybe even break 100 points.

It's definitely nice for a team when they can rest assured that someone will take over when another player cools down. That's depth.
As for scoring 50, it's a high probability seeing as he has more games left to score as many as he did now in fewer games. Assuming, of course, that injuries don't plague the team again.

nope, he had the talent since he played in the OHL. It doesn't shock me. He could had been a leaf at the deadline last year.

Ok, i dont know what it is... Theres something about this guy... i dont like. He is a really good hockey player, so I'm not going to diss him at all. Maybe its the fact he plays for the broad street bullys. Of course id like him on my team, but everytime i see he's leading in goal scoring. Urghh! But he is good. He already has 29 goals this season in 43 games, and last season he finished with 29 in 82. So that right there is saying alot.
