After a slow start, he's comnig up in the rankings. Is anyone else as exited as I am to see if he's going to pass Crosby and Malkin in points. And possibly even pass Jeff Carter in goals? Does anyone think that he will do it?

I think he's going to pass everyone in goals. The guy is unstoppable, he had a slow start and missed games, and it's only a matter of time before he leads the league in goals yet again.

Ovechkin is the best goal scorer in the league and he will end up with the most goals. And i would not be surprised if his lead in goals is so much he also leads the league in points. He is not an assist man but he can find the back of the net just fine.

well, last year he had a bit over 50 assists, which isn't bad.

still, 47 is pretty average, maybe not for a huge point getter, but this guys a beast when it comes to goals so it kinda evens out.
and I was sure he finished with 55, my bad

Yah man, the guy is intense at scoring goals! Nothing can stop him! I mean i know he's not much into the passing thing, but when he was getting back on track from his start slump thats all he was getting, than he switched into scorer mode and since then he putting them in the net. Like seriously, he went from like 20 assists 8 goals or something around that, and just started scoring and is now tied at 27-27 for goals and assists. He will finish the season with a great deal more points this year i think.... I hope.
