Everyone has their reasons for the bad turn of events in Montreal. I listed a bunch of them in the poll, but if you can think of anything else just choose other and post it.
You can select as many of the answers as you like in this poll, and retract your votes if you change your mind.

Wondering if the centennial year/anniversary hype had any bearing as well ? Like a distraction/focus. Having to wear some stupid looking jersey/sweaters ?!

That's definitely a good point Sam. The players had a ton of pressure this year with the high expectations because of last year and the whole Centennial thing...

This Team Is Just To Small Up Front .. Plekanec , Kostitsyn , Where Were They In The Playoffs ?? Hiding Cause Their To Damn Small .. We Need Vinny!! Hopefuly Bob Is Still The Gm At The Draft & Makes Some Blockbuster Deal .. Thank God This Nightmare Season Is Over , Gotta Get Over It An Move On ... I Also Believe We Seen Koivu Play His Last Game In Habs Jersey Sad Gonna Miss Him But His Time Is Up To Move On .. I Think Kovy & Tanguay & Komi Well All Be Resigned , Dandy Is Out, Breezer Well Most Likely Retire , Lang Wont Be Back , Metro & K-Top Id like to see both of them back but not likely , Dont be Shocked if Halak is moved , Id like to see Schenider back but he'd have to take Masive paycut , Gonna be interesting offseason .. How bout this line .... Kovy - Vinny - Tanguay ??

I'm gonna blame it on the fact that the expectations on them were way to high. The Habs didn't play horribly this season, considering thier injury problems. But If you look at anyones predictions at the beginning of the season, everyone said the the Habs would be in first place.
The Habs had everyone believing it too with thier great start. But as time went on, the Habs lost thier momentum as well as thier confidence. As well as Price, but not Halak, he didn't play so he was confident when they played him that he can turn things around. So when Halak played well Price probably put alot of the blame on himself, real great for his confidence.
That being said, that's why I think thye literally crawled into the play-offs.

well i really didn't like the way Price talked today. Give the guy a break, he is obviously frustrated with himself and this whole affair. He has so much pressure its unbelievable.

i know. I just didn't like the way he handle himself today thats it . I know there is lots of pressure on the kid. Which I don't agree wiht that. One thing he could had took of his hat.
