After acquiring him from Chicago late in the season, Sammy had a good run with his new team. Would it be a smart decision for Carolina to resign him? What kind of contract does he deserve?

I think it's safe to say that more than one year could be potentially dangerous. I'd say give him a shot with a 1-year contract, see if he continues to play well.

wow, they're probably gonna regret that. you know he's probably gonna pull out another season that was similar to his 1-2 goal season he had with MTL, and it's probably during the season where he gets paid 2.8 mil

your right on the ball carson. when montreal signed him, i was like great then he just didn't show up to play for the habs, which is too bad but its up to him i guess.

Yeah, I was extremely excited when Sammy signed in Montreal, but extremely disappointed with his play. Hopefully for the 'Canes, he won't make them regret the nice contract.

lol, i find it funny when teams trade players and then when that player plays his former team he gets a hat-trick (Corvo) or two goals (Eaves)
