Despite missing the playoffs, the Panthers had a good season this year. Are the playoffs a realistic objective for next season?

I think they stand a fair chance. Personally, I thought they would've been in the playoffs this year too, though.

Yah, i honestly think that florida would have made the playoffs. Their goaltending is really good and they do have a good offence. And they did lose a well liked player for the season. Zednik that is, it must have stirred things up amongst the players, and im sure they lost some morale. Not to mention Zednik up to that point had been their top power play goal scorer. None the less I do think they could make the playoff's next season.

Yeah, they're solid in nets and their defense is building, they have a good, young core on offense, I think it's a realistic objective. Personally, I kind of thought they were going to make it this year.

Yah, I won't be surprised if they make the series next season. With the team they have, and may yet improve still.

Exactly. Horton, for example, is becoming an offensive powerhouse, and improving every year.

Yah, and there are a couple others. I believe Stumpel Is getting pretty good. At least he is against montreal.

Yeah, Stumpel is good. Bouwmeester is solid on D too.

Except at the beggining of this season he had some trouble. And he did finish -5 this season. As to last season he finished +23. And he got less points then last year. But maybe next season he can have a bit of a bounce back.

Yeah he did have a tough season, I forgot, but he's still a very good defenseman. He's playing for Canada in the World Championship right now.
