Boston wins the first game 4-2.
Even with my bias aside, that was clearly an unfairly called game. Poor showing by the refs.

i agree with you VD, why call a penatly in the 3rd like that. On the first goal the refs should had blew the whistle. There was no way that he saw the puck if you ask me. But overall I really like the way Montreal played tonight even tho the lost.

Yes, exactly. It was a good effort overall, and I hope the players realize that they can beat the Bruins if they keep up with this effort.

Game 2=Pure domination. Lucic may get suspended for that cross-check to the face that he gave to Lapierre.

Again, Montreal had one powerplay in the whole game, it was the major at the end of the game for Lucic's cross-check when the game was all but over. There's no way the Bruins were perfect the entire game before that, come on.
Maybe the refs will be on our side in Montreal. I'm looking forward to seeing the Bruins fans ***** and moan that the refs gave us a game, those ****ing hypocrites.
Bruins fans are saying that the Lucic cross-check was actually just a punch to the mouth with the glove.

well, the crosscheck was initially a punch to the mouth, but the stick ended up hitting him in the face. The only reason he wouldn't get suspended is for the fact that Lucic was just defending himself when Lapierre was coming after him. But, I don't think the NHL is that stupid not to suspend him.
One thing I enjoyed about last nights game was the Boston fans doing the olé song, I hate that stupid soccer chant.

Nothing like seeing fans of other teams cry about it, especially fans of non-playoff teams who have no one to cheer and so have to resort to cheering against us. ;D |

i didn;t seeee the game and i think that I was happy not too lol Well the Habs came out strong (I think they were outshooting the Bruins 10-2 at one point in the first ten minutes). Then the Bruins scored two goals, but the Habs cut the lead to one. The Bruins then scored another one, and then the refs stepped in, the Bruins got a few powerplays, and took control. The third period was pretty dead. |

I like Lucic. He's good agitator and he can back it up with a fight. He can also get some points. I can definetly understand why Habs fans despise him, but he's pretty good in my book.
I'm accually a fan of good agitators, Lapierre is one of my favorite Canadien, I really like Ruutu, I even like Sean Avery. Shocking, I know.
