I hope so, I don't see why not. They're a powerhouse every season.
Now I have a good reason to cheer for them even more this year because of Cowen. Although I no doubt cheered for Canada last year, Karlsson had to be my favorite player of the tourney and I often rooted him on. Even when playing Canada.

Karlsson did good last year. Ottawa didn't let him go this year and I don't blame then.
I think they are going to have problems in the net this year.

Do you know who the goalies are gonna be? I've never come around to checking it.
EDIT: The goalies are Jake Allan and Martin Jones and I've never heared much about either of them. Jake Allan was drafted early in the second round of the 2008 draft however, sounds promising enough.

Jake Allen out of the QMJHL plays with a team in Montreal. Played last night only let in 2 goals.
The other game is something Jones he plays for the Calgary Hitman. Not too sure if he is drafted tho.

Me too. I can't wait to see Cowen in action. I haven't seen him since pre-season and back then he had a botched knee, it's not even 100% now but he's still managing some good hockey playing.

yup, he looked good last night from what I saw in the first preseason game. But it takes awhile to heal from a injury like what he had.

He's only expected to be fully healed by the end of next summer, had he taken some more time off, he would have been 100% by now. But he decided to play the season (because he can) and let his knee rehabilitate in the summer.

hey i agree, i give the kid lots of credit for wanting to play hockey this summer. It shows that the kid cares. Good draft pick from the sens.

That said, I'm excited to see some undrafted players also. Taylor Hall being one of them.

canada goes 2 and 0 in preseason games. They won Finland 3 to 0 tonight. Pretty good game from Canada. They need to stop going to the box.
