Let's talk Senators. ;D
So they have 72 points in 5th place, currently tied with Buffalo and Pittsburgh. 2 points away from New Jersey for second place. They've been quite the story this season.
What do you guys think of their chances of taking the NE division?
And what do you think their chances are in the post-season?...If they make it, that is.

I think they'll take the division personally. They've been hot lately, and Miller has not been as godly as he was earlier on in the season (fatigue? who knows) in Buffalo.
As for the playoffs, well, who knows? Once you're in, anything can happen.

first is doesn't shock me that Miller isn't playing good right now. He carried Buffalo has the first half of the season.
Ottawa is one of those teams that would make noise in the playoffs, they are a hard team to judge,

i'm personnnaly hoping for Ott vs MTL or Ott vs Buf in the first round(Ottawa would have to decrease in the standings for that however.) As for Miller, he's tired, no surprise there, they can't trust Lalime to win a game, not to mention the rest of their team lol. Miller's the difference right now. He'll probably be ever more tired after the Olympics. I don't want to make predictions though, especially homer predictions...they always go the complete opposite way than what I predicted.

just to let you know Montreal is able to win Ottawa.
Buffalo: They are going to have a problems in the second half because Miller is going to be the starter for USA and we he comes back he is going to sink.

I would be reasonably comfortable with a Habs-Sens or Habs-Sabres match-up in the first round. Surprisingly, I wouldn't mind playing the Penguins either. I wouldn't want to face the Caps, or especially New Jersey though.

I wouldn't want to face Sabres because if Miller gets his bad game, habs are done.

Hey hey I'm just saying I would rather play Montreal (likely bottom 4 team) or Buffalo (Ottawa has their numbers). I would not want to play Philly, New Jersey, Pittsburgh or the Capitals. Of course the 8th seed is very undetermined, but I think that's Caps territory anyways.

That's why i'd like the Habs to stay in 6th if possible, because then we'd likely play the winner of our division, and I would be pretty comfortable taking on anyone in our division.

I wouldn't mind playing New Jersey, they always **** the bed in the play-offs. See last year, year before that, year before that etc. lol

I find it funny how a lot of people wrote them off when the season started saying they wouldnt make the playoffs. All you need is good goaltending, some offense, and solid team defense. I wouldnt mind playin sabres or habs in first round weve had success against both teams.
