The Canucks have just fired their GM Dave Nonis.

Questionable move in my opinion - this guy got them Luongo and got a struggling team into the playoffs last year. Unexpected...

Either way, he'll find a job somewhere. And I doubt Vigneault loses his job. Would surprise me a lot. Then again, Nonis being fired surprised me too...

Rental players are overrated anyway, and usually do more harm then good. Look at Atlanta last year.
