I've heard talk of trading Heatley or Spezza for a good goalie, but nothing as concrete as what you've said. At this point, it's all guessing at what makes sense, and the Sens have had shaky goaltending ever since Lalime's good season, and trading one of their All-Star forwards is one of the only ways to remedy that.
I'm not sure the Canucks would be willing to trade Luongo for Spezza because then they wouldn't have any goalies, but if they got offered Heatley for him, I think they might be tempted to do it because they really need offense. They would probably want Gerber, too, and probably some draft picks would be involved.
I've also heard that Ottawa could be interested in some of the Free Agent goalies like Miller and Theodore this summer.

that could be, i read on ottawa's site that they dont want ray emery, and they want to play Brian Elliote more, they said they might keep gGerber and Elliote, but trade Ray Emery.

Yeah, this is confirmed. Emery will not be in Ottawa next season.
As for what I said about Miller, he's a Free Agent next summer, not this one. Sorry about the confusion.

Hopefully ottawa will sign him!

Yeah for them, but they have this upcoming season to think about too.
Also, I'm sure Buffalo will do everything they can to sign him, and if not, I think Miller will head to Detroit. He's from Michigan, and Detroit isn't afraid to shell out money.

well, that's if Hasek retires, they wont sign miller if they still have Hasek and Osgood.

They will. One if not both of them will be gone by then, and even if they're both still around, they'll buy back one of their contracts. They're not gonna keep two old goalies who aren't even performing that well right now instead of a young star goalie.

yeah, i know that heatley wont get traded, as for spezza, i don't think Murray will want to get rid of him, and murray doesn't like getting rid of players. although there were alot of trades this year for ottawa...wierd...

There's rumors that Ottawa may like to "replace" Murray, as Coach and GM. Fired, in other words. Only rumors though.
But that could shake things up. No offense, but that guy is the ultimate loser. He's never done anything good in his career. I'm not just saying that 'cause he's with Ottawa. But he's a loser. Get a real coach, and a non-loser GM.

i like murray, he did get a team to the stanley cup finals, but i agree with getting a new better one, but murray is a better coach than GM
