Calgary surprised me this year. I didn't think they were going to do so well, even coming close to taking out the powerful Sharks.
What does a team like Calgary have as it's weaknesses? Why did they lose to San Jose?

i think they lost because, they couldn't hold back J.R. Superstar scoring two goals when thay had the lead, which led to them losing game 7

Yeah, JR put up a good effort in that game. Good for him, I was always a fan of him.

Biggest problem for them was defense and Kippy. I love Mikka Kiprusooff i believe he is a very talented goalie and one of the tops in the league. He had a very bad series i don't know if it was the defense not helping him out or him just not coming up big against the big shots from San Jose.

I find Kiprusoff has slowed down since Calgary's great playoff run before the lockout. Don't get me wrong, he's still solid, but not nearly as stellar as before the lockout, in my opinion anyway.

Yeah, kind of like Khabibulin, but not as bad.

Exactly it's tough after a year off to jump right back into, some goalies handled it better than others. Khaby and Kiprussoff didn't at all.

Yeah, or Theodore even, but you look at guys like Huet, he came out flying after the lockout.
