Jim Balsillie has put a $212.5M(US) offer on the Coyotes. It is conditional on the team moving to Southern Ontario.
The Coyotes filed for bankruptcy today.

More Canada teams? I like the notion. Gonna be interesting to see how this all plays out.

Yeah, the only problem is there going to put a western team in a more eastern area?
There's a few cases of that already, but that's just confusing.
But Still...Canadian team! WOO!...maybe.

I think it would be further West than Detroit and Columbus.

Exactly. Detroit and Columbus are good examples of Eastern area teams in the Western Conference.
But I'm just saying it could be confusing to some.

Yeah.
What's weird is that Atlanta is further West than Columbus by quite a lot too.

Exactly. But I mean, im not complaining, if they can take a team out of Pheonix and into Canada that would be awsome!

They really should move phoenix to canada I mean they hav lost over $200 million in the last 8 years if im not mistaken. It wouldnt make sense to keep the coyotes in phoenix might as well move them somewhere else to give another city a shot. They say could be moved to toronto, hamilton, waterloo.

they are not moving to Canada. There is no way that Gary wants another team in Canada. If he had a chance he wouldn't want any Canadians team in the NHL.
Its time for Gary to go he has not done anything better in the NHL since he was Commish. He costs us one year on hockey becuase players was getting paid too much. Well guess what its been like 5 to 6 years since the lockout and the players are still getting paid too much. 10 to 12mill a year thats a joke.

Exactly. The NHL has to make an approval of a team changing locations. It still may not happen.

If that team came to Canada you can bet there would be good attendance, especially at first.
I'm worried that three teams in one province might be overkill though. I'd like to see a team in Winnipeg if anything.
The NHL will do anything they can to save Phoenix though.

tell you guys the truth i agree with you don't move the team to southern ont. Its going to hurt Toronto and Buffalo in there attendances.
you guys may be shock with what I'm going to say be I would not move a team to Winnipeg I would rather watch the Moose play then watching a NHL team only getting 8,000 fans per game. The moose average 7 to 8,000 fans per game which is good for a AHL team.
Just my point of view
