Hey guys,
We are a week away for the trade deadline my favorite time of the year.
Do you think that there is going to be lots of trades this year.

I'm excited for the deadline as usual, but it lost some of it's glamour this year with a lot of big names already moved, like Kovalchuk, Phaneuf, Jokinen, etc...

I'll make a vow to watch it from start to finish (I like how TSN streams the stuff for US people as well), but it's not going to have all of that glitz and glamour since some of the big names that were rumored to be traded anyway have already been sent. Maybe there will be a blockbuster towards at the last second, but who knows?

I'm really excited. The Sens have made their move for a forward already, now they want to get a solid D-man so I wouldn't be surprised to see a move made on deadline day. Who's it gonna be?

Okay... So who do you think is moving after the trade freeze? Should be an interesting few days between the time the freeze is lifted and the actual deadline.

I'm hearing Kaberle. But we've been hearing Kaberle for a couple of seasons now, and nothing.

I think Burke said that he won't ask Kaberle to waive. However, his NTC ends this summer, so we'll see.

Yup, your right there is a time during the summer that his NTC ends then it starts up again "I think". I see him moving the summer time around draft time. Toronto can get a roster play, 1st draft pick and maybe a AHL player. But wouldn't they get a better deal for him now??? I wouldn't mine having him in my line up.

There was speculation about a week ago about Kaberle saying that he's willing to move on from Toronto. I haven't read any articles or anything, I'm just saying if Kaberle said he's willing then he's likely going to be shopped at the deadline or in the offseason.

i see Burke shopping him at the deadline even if he said he hasn't ask him for a list of teams.
