Good game by the Canadians. I'm glad to see Luongo with the shut-out seeing as how he was playing pre-Olympics. Iginla with the Hatty, Heatley  with 2 goals. Getzlaf was pretty intense. Perry had a sick 1 on 1, too bad he didn't finish on it. I don't think I've told anyone this but Getzlaf is who I'm rooting for in this years Olympics in terms of individuals. He's been one of, if not, my favorite player that is not Sens related for about 2 seasons now. The guys a beast, I think it's gonna be against the powerhouses like Russia, USA or Sweden where he's gonna thrive and he's going to be the player to watch. |

Wow. Russia may score the most goals in their first game, but the goals they let in were sort of bad. Latvia doesn't have a chance to win, but they scored more than a goal.

When I wrote that, they were in the middle of their game. So I didn't know if they were going to finish with more than eight goals. They too had eight.

Two great games last night. The Canada game was too close for comfort; that Swiss team is surprising. I can't believe Russia lost though.

I'm watching the game tonight and boy Canada has problems putting the puck in the net, Miller is playing GREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTT
